One of the most common problems is red eye and is nearly impossible to prevent regardless of how good a photographer you are or what type of camera you have. In the past your photo would be ruined if it had red eye on it. Thankfully Photoshop has the tools we need to remove red eye without anyone ever knowing the problem existed in the first place.
Motion blurs are another error that can make your pictures look bad. To correct this, Adobe Photoshop has sharpening tools that will be able to remove the hand shake blur errors. If you want your photos to have that misty feel, then there are also blurring tools that you can use.
Another thing that is hard to predict are lighting problems however I am sure you are already aware that Photoshop can take nearly any problem that seemed insurmountable and fix it with a few clicks of the mouse. Is your photo missing someone? Simply remove that person from a different photo and paste them where you want them to go. Now, this is a bit more tricky and requires a bit more experimentation, however it can be accomplished with Photoshop. Using Adobe Photoshop, you can be sure that you will be able to turn those ordinary looking photos in to something magical.
