To add memory to Notebook computers, there’s no need to take them apart. To access the memory slots, there’s a panel that’s usually located at bottom of the laptop. When you’ve located the panel, you can open it using a screwdriver and view the existing memory. The memory strips are locked in on the ends of the strips using small clips. You can gently pull the memory strips from their holding place once you’ve flipped the clips. If there is space available and you just want to add a new memory, then gently push it in to ensure it’s fully seated in the slots then close the clips so the new memory will be held in place.
When you’re done adding or replacing your new memory, replace the access panel and screw it back into place.
